2017 Squash coaching
The Stormont Squash programme is headed by Vickie Prow who administers as well as coaches the programmes. Vickie is ultimately responsible for delivering the coaching programmes – working with the members, the community and local schools, growing participation and making our sport even more accessible.
Whether you have a 5 year old just picking up up a racket for the first time, have decided to give racketball a try or you are a team/club player, the coaching team will be able to help you to develop and improve your game. Our coaching team have experience of coaching players of all ages and ability and will work with you to develop your skills and technique to make your game more competitive and enjoyable.
Included in our coaching team is:
• Vickie Prow Level 2 coach who delivers our off site school programs and our women squash sessions.
•Guido Cannistraci Level 2 coaching the Wednesday’s ladies session and supporting coaches as required
Stormont Squash Club has a full weekly programme of activities which includes termly junior coaching programmes on a Wednesday (girls) Thursday and Friday (4-7pm), adult sessions on a Thursday, and club night on Wednesday from 8pm at which everyone is welcome.
A growing number of women at Stormont are playing squash and we have a regular coached beginners/intermediate women only session every Wednesday at 6.30pm. It is a fun and social environment and an opportunity for our players to meet new people, play at their own level and ability.
